Anthony Cosmo? Not quite known by the paparazzi, PEOPLE magazine or MTV just yet, but known by Boston (the band) fans and a handfull of the music industry, this multi-talented handsome vision reminiscent of old hollywood charm is about to hand out some serious ear candy. The first thing one discovers upon meeting Anthony Cosmo is how genuine he is. Now working on different projects such as the "COSMO" Anthony Cosmo has also had the remarkable opportunity to be a member and songwriter of the legendary rock group "BOSTON". To hear Antonio speak about his music, his influences and his accomplishments with such an unassuming composure is refreshing to see in someone of his generation. Shortly after joining the band, Anthony wrote three of the songs on "Boston's" Corporate America Record"One of the songs, "Turn It Off", ( an observation on the woes in the Middle East) debuted during and interview with Anthony Cosmo, Fran Cosmo ,Tom Sholz & Brad Delp on the syndicated show, Rockline. After airing the song, the internet radio broadcasting site, Launch.com (Yahoo!) began using "Turn It Off" for a nationwide promotional campaign. The electrons were in motion. Two major headlining tours in 2003 and 2004 followed. In a relatively short time Anthony had catapulted several rungs up the Rock 'n Roll ladder. In between touring with Boston, most of Anthony's time was spent in his private recording studio in his New York home. Writing, playing and self-producing his own music. Stylistically, the music of Anthony is a major departure from the forceful material he wrote for Boston. Anthony's songs are a fusion of influences from the 70's 80's 90's and today's music creating what Anthony calls in his own words, " A global sound." Anthony Cosmo is essentially a one man band having written produced all the songs as well as playing all the instruments. ---"I want to create music that can go in many directions such as Pop-Radio,Television and Movies.
