Ally Carter is a writer living and working in the Midwest. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Cornell University. Cheating at Solitaire is her first book. The sequel, Learning to Play Gin, which will be available from Berkley in the fall of 2006. She is an upstanding citizen who has never committed crimes involving turkey basters, hot dogs, or Samsonite luggage.
She has never been inside her sister's neighbor's house.
She only wears bridesmaid's dresses when she is, in fact, a bridesmaid.
She is single and has absolutely no problem eating alone in restaurants.
